This is the sauce that I use on some of my sushi rolls. Good used inside your favorite rolls, and sometimes it's used on top of rolls too. I mix this with lump crab to top my Spider Rolls with, to make a Manhattan Roll. They are YUMMY, and so is this sauce! PLEASE NOTE: Time does not include 2 hr. refrigeration time. This sauce will last for quite awhile in the fridge.

SOURCE SHADOWS Note: the granulated garlic spread evenly over the hot sauce keeps the blue cheese dressing from sinking into the hot sauce.

Delicious Onion Dip at its best!!! If you have a hard time finding onion powder (not the same as onion salt), feel free to use crushed dehydrated onion flakes. Just add to taste. In Texas, it's just called "Queso". To make this really festive, use multi-colored chips or blue-corn chips. Mmmmm, you'll want to eat this with a spoon! From Saveur magazine. Feel free to adjust the amount of Jalapeno pepper to account for your heat tolerance!

This recipe was written for the FF&F site RSC game. While the title is descriptive, it would be even moreso if titled "Where There's A Will, There's A Way CLAM DIP". The opening of a Costco store here Reykjavik resolved many of my ingredient issues, but others still exist. I've never seen canned minced clams & rarely see green onions or fresh cilantro. Known for being creative &...

From the New American Heart Association Cookbook. You can make this with either water or olive oil. I keep roasted peppers in the freezer which I buy en masse and roast them all, but you can use jarred. You don't have to remove the skins from the chickpeas either, but it does make for a superior hummus consistency. Try it and see. Especially see the pile of skins you WON'T be eating.

This is from a local Restaurant by the name of Stanley & Seafort's. A wonderful place to eat dinner and look at the city lights. A must have as an appetizer. Yes! It is on the expensive side but well worth it. I throw it under the broiler for a minute or two to brown. If not using (6 ounce) small individual baking dishing you will need to cook longer. Enjoy!
Best smoked fish dip I've ever had! From cooks dot com. Calls for smoked white fish, but I used smoked trout that I already had on hand. This is better than the fish dips we've tried in our Florida restaurants! The first time I made this, we halved the recipe. It was plenty as part of an appetizer tray for 4 people.

I don't for the life of me remember where I got this one, but I think the original had corn instead of black beans. Which you can easily use if you prefer, or add a can of corn as well as the black beans. Whatever makes you happy. Heat is controlled by what type of salsa you choose, or you can add some of your favourite hot pepper sauce to increase the heat if you wish.
