Welcome to, an interactive, online service. Our website incorporates a number of interactive features where user information is collected and information is shared among our members. These interactive features include: applications, downloads, forums, member web logs (blogs), private messaging, user profiles and recipe posts. Because we value your participation, we established this privacy policy so that you are fully aware of information that may be collected about you and how we treat this unique information.

Information We Collect


Our Website typically collects two types of information about you: (a) information that you provide that personally identifies you; and (b) information that does not personally identify you that we automatically collect when you visit our site or that you provide us.

User Information (UI):


User Information (UI) is information that does not personally identify you. UI can include certain PI that has been made anonymous. We and/or our third party service providers also automatically gather some forms of UI from you when you access our site.


Sharing and Using Collected Information


(a) Personal Information (PI):


The PI you provide is generally used is ways that are associated with the use of our site. In addition, we may also collect the IP address or some other unique identifier for the particular device you use to access our site. Collectively, utilization data is used by us to assess the demographics and other common factors of members who interact with our site so that we can improve the site and respond to usage trends that we, or our third-party service provider, identify through analysis. Your IP address, other unique identifier, or site utilization data may be combined with the PI you input. In that event the combined information will be treated as PI.




A “cookie” is a data file placed on your device when it is used to visit our site. Our cookie is used for, but is not limited to, authentication, storing site preferences, shopping cart contents, identifying a server-based session, or anything else that can be accomplished through storing text data. Web Beacons

Some mobile service providers’ systems include information that may allow us or our third-party vendors or partners to specifically identify your device, including your phone number or exact location. (c) Information You Provide About a Friend (Third Parties)

(d) Information a Friend (Third Parties) Provide About You

Other Uses

Our business is dynamic. If another entity acquires us or all (or substantially all) of our assets, the PI and UI we have collected about you will be transferred to and used by this acquiring entity. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your preferences are followed. Also, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, all such information may be considered an asset of ours and as such may be sold or transferred to third parties.

(d) Contests and other Promotions:

Public Areas


We make available forums, member blogs, private messaging, user profiles and recipe posts, etc. where people can share content and information. The protections of our Privacy Policy do not extend to your use of public areas and any information that you may voluntarily provide while using a public area. We cannot control the use of and are not responsible for any information that you elect to post in a public area of our site.




The features, programs, promotions and other aspects of our site requiring personally identifiable information are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13).
