May I suggest the following link...
I grew up with a very English Mom and so associate a lot of my recipes from her with "British/English", too many to link here individually, but a lot of them nicely put together here by Zazz, and many from other members too...

British recipes are too broad- this tour is looking for English, and I'd prefer not to suggest Irish and Scottish recipes to members. I know there isn't an English category as such, and that your heritage leaves you with many British recipes, but they should be separated out from the others.
Might I suggest making a recipebook of English recipes that can be advertised and you can keep for future vacations? Or if you have a simply English recipebook already, you can share the link.
In any case, people can tag your recipes for the vacation without being advertised in the drive.
But if you do have many recipes, don't feel self conscious about listing them here if you like. I don't mind being bombarded. I'll list as many recipes as you like, either singly or in a recipebook.

I saw a post in the other thread that said you are tagging those and will be testing them as part of the vacation. They are marked in that thread. And that because I was just then updating- I have been out most of the day and Games Moderators are short this weekend so there may be delays in updates.
If you post them in here, it is to advertise to members so they might pick them. I won't just add recipes people will be posting when they tag them in the SIGN UP topic because they may not want anyone else to try them before they do.
So long story short, if you want recipes advertised, you have to list them in here, either singly, or in a recipebook. But you can advertise new recipes you will post and are also tagging, just list them in both places. This topic is not the place to tag for the vacation.
If you do put a bunch in a recipebook and post the link here, just remember not to mix them and make a new recipebook for each destination, so there is no confusion. :)

Derf, you have a historic recipe for those biscuits used for strawberry shortcake. I made them last summer. They were wonderful!

Sorry Sue, I don't have time to go through all my posted recipes to make an English cookbook, most of those posted to British are English.

In any case here is one more for English
Spotted ****
http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/spotted-****-9632

Well isn't that rediculous !!! I guess the site dosen't like the name of a very old fashioned English dessert "Spotted D I C K", in the forum, and yet the recipe is posted and approved and it is a delicious childhood dessert that I grew up with and my children grew up with too and many millions of English peoples grew up with    =)) =)) =)) =)) =)) =)) =))

Spotted **** is a steamed suet pudding, popular in Britain, containing dried fruit (usually currants or raisins) commonly served with custard. Spotted refers to the dried fruit (which resemble spots) and **** may be a contraction or corruption of the word pudding (from the last syllable) or possibly a corruption of the word dough[1] or dog, as "spotted dog" is another name for the same dish with the use of plums rather than currants. Another explanation offered for the word "****" is that it is the German word for "thick."

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the earliest documented reference is a recipe for "Plum Bolster, or Spotted ****", in Alexis Soyer's The modern Housewife or ménagère (1849).[2][3]

the site even **** it out in the copy and paste :P :P :P
   =)) =)) =))

and one for Nuts

Trust me, I do understand the time involved when we both have very large recipe collections. People can still make your recipes should they choose to look for them in the British section. I just can't add a section to have people choose from when it also includes a lot of Irish. Just as I can't use the Asian section for people to pick Phillippine recipes because they are all mixed.
Those who know the cuisine will have no problem finding recipes in the Zazz archives. But those who don't, and really that is who this section is for, to help people find cuisine they are not familiar with, and wouldn't know the difference between English and spaghetti, need these selections offered to make things easier for them, more accessible. Putting a mixed bag in front of them would defeat the purpose.
But I do understand if you don't have the time (I don't even have time to go through all of mine). I wouldn't worry about it- you have many great recipes and I am sure many will be tagged over the summer. There will be 100 different destinations for this event, and I imagine most, if not all, of your recipes will be up for grabs at one destination or another over the course of the summer. So it's really no big deal.
