Linda's Apple Brownies

"The first time I had these I thought I had died and gone to heaven... This recipe is in the Top 5 for my FAVORITE desserts... Add a scoop of French Vanilla Ice Cream on top of one of these yummy brownies when they are warm, is the ultimate in desserts in my opinion! Use an 8x8" pan."

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Soften margarine. (I use the microwave).

Step 3

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.

Step 4

Bake in a buttered 8x8" baking dish, for 30-40 minutes. After 30 minutes, keep an eye on them so the edges don't brown too much.

Step 5

Let cool, cut, and then store in a plastic container.

We went apple picking and this is what my daughter wanted to make. They are so delicious! Of course we had to have a little ice cream to go with it!

made this with gluten-free flour - yummy. I forgot to add cinnamon. used pink lady for apple. used butter in place of margarine. Loved, loved this recipe

We love apples and these brownies were just the thing to make with all the ones we picked at the orchard. Delicious bites of apples, cinnamon and nuts. Couldn't be any better!
