7 Day Meal Plan

Meal planning is something we are seeing more of these days. We lead very busy lifestyles and putting meals together has become such a chore.

Planning ahead makes grocery shopping more efficient, because you only have to buy the ingredients you need for the week. This eliminates impulse buying, which can be costly and unhealthy.

When you plan ahead and have meals ready to go in advance, it eliminates the daily scramble of trying to figure out what to make.

We have put together this 7 day meal plan the help start you off on your meal planning adventure. All you have to figure out is what side you want to serve with your dinner.

Most of the lunches are made up of the previous night’s dinner or made so that you can use the same protein to make the next day’s lunches with.

We have this layed out so you see a breakfast, a lunch and a dinner recipe and then continue to the next day's 3 recipes.

Country Fried Meatloaf Sandwich

I had some leftover meatloaf and I wanted a sandwich. But not an ordinary meatloaf sandwich,so I just "kicked it up a notch"The taste you will get depends on what type of meatloaf you use.But that's half the fun in making this particular recipe.:)For the slices, cut meatloaf into 1/4 to 1/3 inch pieces. You can either make a sandwich or serve with mashed potatoes and a green veggie. If you make a...

Mom Florences Tacos

This is how our family makes tacos. It was one of the first things I learned to "cook". It seems so easy it shouldn't even be posted. The hardest part is finding enough bowls so everyone can fill the tacos the way they want. Leftovers can be a nice taco salad--if there are any.

Cereal Homemade & Budget Friendly

This cereal is so good, it's like eating pecan pie for breakfast. Plus it's cheaper and healthier than store-bought with less sugar, less salt and more fiber. You can add dried fruit or dark chocolate shavings too if you like. The only problem with this recipe is that every time I make it, hubby thinks we're having oatmeal cookies. So now I have the routine down pat - make a...

Bea's Swiss Chalet Style Rotisserie Chicken

My favorite way to have chicken is rotisserie style and I absolutely love Swiss Chalet Chicken. The prep time for this recipe does not include to marinating time. Also, depending on the BBQ or rotisserie...

Overnight Crock Pot Oatmeal With All The Toppings

Two things I love about this recipe. First, this is great to make ahead; portion it up - refrigerate or freeze. Then, it takes no time to reheat and add some toppings for a quick breakfast on the go. Second, great for company. If you have guests coming; make this the night before - and, prepare your toppings. Then, in the am, set out everything; and, you have a 'Self Serve Oatmeal Bar.'...

To Die For Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I've been making this roast for years and it's perfect for a Sunday meal and for those busy weeknights. It is comfort food at its best and is REALLY GOOD and I have turned more people to this recipe than I can count! It is not an original creation of mine, but I was surprised that it wasn't on this site seeing that it is on other sites. I'm placing it here to...
