Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large ziplock bag combine all ingredients and gently massage the ingredients into the pork; set aside for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Preheat outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly oil grate.

Step 3

Grill pork chops for 5 - 10 minutes per side (depending on thickness) or until instant meat thermometer reads 160F degrees (70C degrees) when inserted into center of chop or until no longer pink in center.

Wow! This was great. I'm terrible at grilling. I always have to have a time to go by to grill. We'll make this again; it's going in my favorites file. The only thing I changed was the fact that I had to use dried basil. I couldn't find any fresh.

These chops came out full of flavor and were moist and tender...I cooked them on my George Foreman grill because my back deck is being redone...so no grilling for me this summer...we loved the taste of the lime...but the hubby and I both felt that the basil got lost...made for "Bill Board" tag game...

Very good pork chops - we used boneless chops and cooked them in a grill pan on top of the stove. Otherwise followed the directions as written for a very good dinner. Thanks for sharing!
