"Modified recipe from Real Simple, October 2010. Give this side dish an unexpected sweet spin with roasted grapes, and optional toasted pecans. Pecans can be toasted in a medium-hot iron skillet, constantly stirring, until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat oven to 375° F.

Step 2

On a large rimmed baking sheet, toss the Brussels sprouts and grapes with the oil, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Step 3

Turn the Brussels sprouts cut-side down and roast until golden brown and tender, 20 to 30 minutes. (Check at 20 and 25 minutes!)

Step 4

Place roasted Brussels sprouts and grapes on a serving platter. Garnish with optional toasted pecans.

Wow - loved the grapes in this! They turn out so sweet and delicious! And the toasted pecans added an great layer of crunch. I did halve the sprouts, as directed, but next time will probably par-boil them and leave them whole before roasting. This is a total keeper, and we'll be making this often! Thanks for sharing!

This is a true 5 star recipe. It is so attractive and so delicious. I like that you can get it ready ahead of time and then just pop it in the oven 30 minutes before dinner. Excellent!! I loved roasted Brussels sprouts to begin with, but these were made even more delicious with the grapes (such a cool idea) and toasted pecan pcs. Yummy, yummy recipe!
