Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix together the ground chicken, egg, green onion, oyster sauce, ginger, sesame oil, 1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes and garlic powder in a bowl.
Step 2
Drizzle olive oil over bottom of large skillet and bring to medium-high heat.
Step 3
Shape the chicken mixture into 4 patties.
Step 4
Place them into the skillet and allow cooking for 4 to 5 minutes, until you have a nice golden brown crust on the bottom, shaking occasionally so they do not stick.
Step 5
Gently turn the patties over and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, again until you have a nice golden brown crust, shaking the pan occasionally so they do not stick.
Step 6
Cover and set the pan aside.
Step 7
Mix together the mayonnaise, hot sauce and 1 pinch hot pepper flakes.
Step 8
Place the chicken patties over the bottom bun, top with lettuce.
Step 9
Divide the mayonnaise mixture over the lettuce and add the top buns.
Step 10
Serve.
