Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 medium green onion, fine chop
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger (jarred)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes plus a pinch, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
  • Hamburger buns (four)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together the ground chicken, egg, green onion, oyster sauce, ginger, sesame oil, 1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes and garlic powder in a bowl.

  • Step 2: Drizzle olive oil over bottom of large skillet and bring to medium-high heat.

  • Step 3: Shape the chicken mixture into 4 patties.

  • Step 4: Place them into the skillet and allow cooking for 4 to 5 minutes, until you have a nice golden brown crust on the bottom, shaking occasionally so they do not stick.

  • Step 5: Gently turn the patties over and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, again until you have a nice golden brown crust, shaking the pan occasionally so they do not stick.

  • Step 6: Cover and set the pan aside.

  • Step 7: Mix together the mayonnaise, hot sauce and 1 pinch hot pepper flakes.

  • Step 8: Place the chicken patties over the bottom bun, top with lettuce.

  • Step 9: Divide the mayonnaise mixture over the lettuce and add the top buns.

  • Step 10: Serve.
