"These are delicious baked wings. The cooking time for these is timed for whole wings, if using separated wings, the cook time will be less. (Update: October 23 2011, I LOVE Ahmafor3's suggestion in the review about doubling the sauce for "dipping". Double the flavour.) If gluten intolerant use gluten free soy sauce. In summer, bake on the BBQ."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix all ingredients, except wings, together well in a bowl.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 3

Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and coat with non-stick spray.

Step 4

Place wings, skin side down, on the baking sheet and bake for thirty minutes, flipping them over after 15 minutes.

Step 5

Drizzle sauce over wings, turn to coat and bake for another 15 to 30 minutes, or until cooked through (this will depend on how thick the wings are), turning as needed so they do not stick.

Step 6

Pour wings into a serving platter along with the pan juices.

Step 7

Enjoy!

We loved these sticky little wings! To give it a little bit of heat, added a touch hot sauce, but otherwise followed the rest as written. We all very much enjoyed these flavorful easy wings. Thanks, Bea, for sharing. Made it for FYC.

I used boneless chicken thighs and they turned out great. They were super delicious and even my picky grandson loved them. I might make these for the super bowl this year. I know they would go over well with my crowd. Thanks for posting.

This is very goood, simply made. I used 8 bone-in chicken thighs. Doubled recipe, except the brown sugar. Added 4 dried cayenne peppers chopped fine. Subbed Amino Acids for the soy sauce, healthier choice and can't tell the diff. Because of the juice in chicken thighs, next time I will leave out the water. Served with butternut squash (basted with the sauce) and rice. Next time I make this I think I will add some chopped green onions just before serving. Very nice sauce that made some lip smackin, finger lick in ckickin

We loved everything about them! Great tasty wings with loads of flavor, and I did double the sauce to dip them in at eating time.
