"Almost everything about this hot dog recipe screams "NEW YORK CITY" loudly & it was found @ realsimpledotcom coincidentally the day after I signed up for Culinary Quest #3 = Pretty good timing in my book. The most popular "restaurant" in Iceland is a hot dog stand w/a serious imagination, so we can appreciate a good hot dog. A bit of hot dog trivia: Iceland packages hot dogs 10 per pk. Guess what? Iceland also packages their hot dog buns 10 per pk. Radically logical thinking IMO. ENJOY the NYC version. When the Quest visits Iceland, I'll share the most popular Icelandic version. :-)"

This put a smile on my face. It is so delicious. I love sauerkraut - the weiner I used was a jalapeno/cheese dog. It all came together beautifully

Yummmy dogs! This is super messy and you need lots of napkins! I made a homemade Thousand Island dressing and then this went together quickly. Such a nice treat on a hot afternoon. Thanks for sharing, twissis. Made for CQ3 - NYC.
