Step 1

Season chicken with garlic salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in flour and shake off excess.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium high heat melt 1 tablespoon butter with 2 tablespoons olive oil. Add chicken. Cook for 3 minutes then turn and cook other side for 3 minutes. Remove the chicken to a plate and remove the skillet from the heat.

Step 3

To the same skillet add lemon juice, stock and the capers. Return to stove and bring to a light simmer scraping up brown bits from the skillet.

Step 4

Return all the chicken to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove chicken to platter. Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter to sauce and whisk vigorously. Pour sauce over chicken and garnish with parsley.

We love chicken and this is one of my favorite ways to prepare it. This is so delicious! The kids ate right along with us so I did 1 1/2 X the recipe to make plenty.

I can't believe how delicious this was considering how easy it is to make. We loved the lemony sauce and flavor it gave the chicken. I served it over fettuccine and the sauce really gave that a nice flavor too. Double the sauce so you have plenty for your pasta!

I can't believe how fast this is to make. It tastes so good you would think it took hours. I will have this many times again and enjoy it every time!

We loved this easy delicious chicken! I served it over linguine with the sauce on top and sopped up the sauce with some good Italian bread. Yummy!
