Step by Step Method
Step 1
Start with party rye bread frozen - it makes it easier to use.
Step 2
Let the cream cheese soften a bit and mix it and the dry salad dressing mix together.
Step 3
Spread the cream cheese mix on the party rye. Use enough so you can taste it (don't skimp).
Step 4
**At this point you can layer them in a bag with wax paper between and freeze till you need them.
Step 5
Slice cucumber relatively thin.
Step 6
Top each piece of bread with a cucumber slice.
Step 7
**if you froze the breads, lay them on a plate, add cucumber slice, and then let thaw for about 30 minutes.
