"OMG.. These are like heaven in your mouth! Talk about great taste sensations... I made these for one of my cooking and recipe event, and these were a HUGE hit... A must try for sure! You can use low fat cream cheese to make these lighter if you like. You can also dip the tops with any kind of finely chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, sprinkles, or dip the whole strawberry or just the ends in chocolate, or drizzle with chocolate. You might even try adding some cocoa powder to the cream cheese and make it a chocolate filling. The sky is the limit here, just use your imagination!""

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place cream cheese in a bowl, and microwave for 30 seconds, so that it's soft. Whip together the cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar. In the center of each strawberry, using a sharp knife, make a hole in each one, as deep as you can without going out the bottom. Spoon or pipe the filling into each hole. Dip cheesecake end of strawberry into chopped almonds, making sure you completely cover the cheesecake filling with the nuts. Lay strawberries in a pretty serving dish. Sprinkle with any leftover nuts around the dish. Chill, and serve. Makes 24 servings

Step 2

Whip together the cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar.

Step 3

In the center of each strawberry, using a sharp knife, make a hole in each one, as deep as you can without going out the bottom. (If you want to, you can slice across the bottom of each strawberry to make it flat, so you can stand them up on a platter. I do this when I use large strawberries)

Step 4

Spoon or pipe the filling into each hole.

Step 5

Dip cheesecake end of strawberry into chopped almonds, making sure you completely cover the cheesecake filling with the nuts.

Step 6

Lay or stand the strawberries in a pretty serving dish.

Step 7

Sprinkle with any leftover nuts around the dish.

Step 8

Chill, and serve.

These yummy strawberries were a great bring along for our 4th of July family celebration. The kids loved them as much as the adults, so they were gone in a flash!

A must have at a Bridal Shower. I dipped them half way up in chocolate, to make them even more decadent, and they were gone in no time. Next time I will double it!

I was looking for something to make that was easy, yet decadent for my hubby for Valentines Day. I cut the recipe down by half. After I got done making them I dipped them half way up in melted dark chocolate. They were easy to make and so beautiful! He was very pleased to say the least!

I made them for my wife this morning as part of her mothers day gift, along with breakfast in bed and 1 dozen roses. She loves the roses but when I give her these luscious strawberries the roses will definitely take 2nd place. Good thing I made extra for me! Scott

I did a small batch of these to make ahead to see if they would be a good choice for my Easter buffet. Young and old will mow down on these in no time and love every minute of it. Guaranteed!!
