Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cook bacon in skillet. Drain, crumble and set aside to cool.

Step 2

Prepare the dressing by mixing together the mayo, sour cream, green onions, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

Step 3

Stir together the chicken, tomatoes, and bacon. (Reserve some of the bacon for garnish, if you'd like.) Pour dressing over chicken mixture and toss well to coat. Chill.

Step 4

Serve over lettuce or toss together. Top with croutons and extra bacon. Or use the chicken salad and lettuce as filling for a wrap...

I made this recipe on 3/11/13 for the " Spring Break " event in the Food Photo Forum. Due to what was available,some changes to the recipe was required.No mixed greens,so iceburg was used.No green onions, so they were omitted.And since I was just making the salad for myself,the recipe was reduced by half.But as for the bacon,the full amount(plus more)was used. I like all the ingredients that were used in the dressing,but never thought about using them together. That was pure genius. :)And I'm pleased to be the first one to rate,review,and photograph this recipe. Thanks for posting,and " Keep Smiling :) "
