Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spread 1/2 cup chopped candy in bottom of pie crust. Set aside.
Step 2
Add cream cheese and sugar to a large bowl and with an electric mixer on medium speed cream ingredients together, approximately 2 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla and continue beating until mixture is well combined. Reserving 8 pieces of candy to garnish stir in remaining chopped candy into cream cheese mixture and blend together. Pour into crust.
Step 3
Place in preheated oven and bake until center is almost set, approximately 30 to 35 minutes. Chill, cover loosely, at least 4 hours or overnight. Garnish with whipped topping and reserved candy pieces when ready to serve.
