"I love snicker candy bars and cheesecake so this will be a very nice treat. Joined Mr. Food's newsletter and this recipe was included. Enjoy! NOTE: Chill time is 4 hours and slice 8 pieces of candy before coarsely chopping the remaining to use for garnish."
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spread 1/2 cup chopped candy in bottom of pie crust. Set aside.
Add cream cheese and sugar to a large bowl and with an electric mixer on medium speed cream ingredients together, approximately 2 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla and continue beating until mixture is well combined. Reserving 8 pieces of candy to garnish stir in remaining chopped candy into cream cheese mixture and blend together. Pour into crust.
Place in preheated oven and bake until center is almost set, approximately 30 to 35 minutes. Chill, cover loosely, at least 4 hours or overnight. Garnish with whipped topping and reserved candy pieces when ready to serve.
