Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix the meat and cornstarch together making sure the meat is well coated and set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix together the black bean sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger and garlic and mix with the meat.

Step 3

N a large skillet or wok, slightly brown the meat mixture over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Add the remaining ingredients and cook until meat is done and vegetables are just tender. (You may need to add a bit of water to the pan to prevent sticking if mixtures starts to dry out before being done)

Step 5

Serve over cooked rice or cooked bean sprouts.

Lovely combination of ingredients, but we found it very salty. Next time i will cut way back on the sauces. The beef was very tender and i will try it again.

Knew this one was going to be a winner at our house - and it was! Not only super easy but super good! I didn't have asparagus on hand, that had me add extra broccoli which worked out well. Can't wait to share this one with our student. I see a good many repeats for this sir fry.
