Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound inside round beef steak , cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black bean sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 4 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 4 ounces broccoli florets
  • 5 asparagus spears, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup frozen corn

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the meat and cornstarch together making sure the meat is well coated and set aside.

  • Step 2: In a small bowl, mix together the black bean sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger and garlic and mix with the meat.

  • Step 3: N a large skillet or wok, slightly brown the meat mixture over medium-high heat.

  • Step 4: Add the remaining ingredients and cook until meat is done and vegetables are just tender. (You may need to add a bit of water to the pan to prevent sticking if mixtures starts to dry out before being done)

  • Step 5: Serve over cooked rice or cooked bean sprouts.
