I have a Bosc pear tree and yard birds, plus leftover gruyere so I gave this omelet a try. I've never sauteed pears before - pretty tasty. I cut the recipe down to serve one.

Just had this for breakfast, and what an excellent combination of flavours! I've had pears with cheese before, but never omelette with pears and cheese. Sweet and savoury, wonderful. Thanks for sharing! Made for Culinary Quest 2015 / Switzerland

What a great combination of sweet pears with creamy gruyere! The name sounds kinda fancy but it was super easy to make! (French words get me every time!) Made for LBOB/ Culinary Quest 2015

This was a wonderful omelet Mikekey. Delicate, tender and flavorful. I love the combination of cheese and pear with egg. So good, I'll be making this treat for myself again, soon. Thanks so much for sharing. Made FYC Tag Game 2015.

Wonderful delicate flavoured omelet. Perfect for a romantic brunch, accompanied with a champagne cocktail or for an after the theatre light dinner. I used smoked Gruyere, perfect. For me, at my age, it was a perfect Sunday Brunch. This will be made again for sure.
