Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drain sauerkraut.

Step 2

Place coctail ryes on cookie sheet in single layer.

Step 3

Carefully place corn beef on each slice of rye.

Step 4

Add 1 tablespoon saurerkraut on top of corn beef.

Step 5

Squeeze a dash of thousand island dressing on top of saurkraut and top with swiss cheese.

Step 6

Just before serving slide cookie sheet into oven for 5-8 minutes -- just until cheese has melted.

We just loved this appetizer! I had everything ready by layer, covered & sitting in the fredge. Pre-heatd the oven 30 minutes before serving, put them together, popped them in the oven and presto 10 minutes later all ready. These will be enjoyed again!
