Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Cocktail bread, rye (one loaf)
  • 1 can (16 ounces) sauerkraut
  • 1/2 pound corned beef (sliced very thin and quartered)
  • 1/2 pound Swiss cheese (sliced and quartered)
  • Thousand Island dressing

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drain sauerkraut.

  • Step 2: Place coctail ryes on cookie sheet in single layer.

  • Step 3: Carefully place corn beef on each slice of rye.

  • Step 4: Add 1 tablespoon saurerkraut on top of corn beef.

  • Step 5: Squeeze a dash of thousand island dressing on top of saurkraut and top with swiss cheese.

  • Step 6: Just before serving slide cookie sheet into oven for 5-8 minutes -- just until cheese has melted.
