"This is a Turkish style scrambled egg recipe. Usually when the onions are added, it is served as a lunch or dinner....otherwise it is normally served for breakfast or brunch. I put onions in my eggs all the time for breakfast! Serve with toast or crusty bread."
Heat the butter and the olive oil in a frying pan. Stir in the pepper and cook for a couple of minutes, at low to medium heat.
Add the green onions, tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and oregano; mix well.
Crack the eggs in a bowl and beat. Add the feta cheese, combine well.
Stir in the egg mixture to the frying pan and stir well.
Scramble the eggs until they are just done, retaining their juice. (Do not overcook!)
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot with additional red pepper flakes offered. Serve with crusty bread. Enjoy!

Lovely Brunch Egg dish served with whole wheat toast. This recipe would be lovely as a light Supper or lunch entree. I cut the recipe back to 2 eggs but used 1 teaspoon pepper flakes. It'll be made again.
This was a winner here! Veggies and eggs are such a great combo for making a colorful, flavorful dish, and the addition of feta was very nice. Thanks for sharing! CQ4
Very enjoyable! The addition of feta was surprising and very enjoyable. The spiciness was mellowed by serving in pita bread. Will make again!
Great eggs. I really enjoyed the combination of veggies in these simple eggs. Will be a repeat at my house. Thanks for sharing, Lynette. Made for CQ4.
Excellent egg recipe! We all enjoyed the veggies and flavor. Thank you!
This is so good and healthy. I was concerned with scrambling the eggs with tomatoes because often the texture of the eggs suffers, but that was not the case here. I also loved the flavor of the eggs with the feta cheese.
