"This is a Turkish style scrambled egg recipe. Usually when the onions are added, it is served as a lunch or dinner....otherwise it is normally served for breakfast or brunch. I put onions in my eggs all the time for breakfast! Serve with toast or crusty bread."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat the butter and the olive oil in a frying pan. Stir in the pepper and cook for a couple of minutes, at low to medium heat.
Step 2
Add the green onions, tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and oregano; mix well.
Step 3
Crack the eggs in a bowl and beat. Add the feta cheese, combine well.
Step 4
Stir in the egg mixture to the frying pan and stir well.
Step 5
Scramble the eggs until they are just done, retaining their juice. (Do not overcook!)
Step 6
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 7
Serve hot with additional red pepper flakes offered. Serve with crusty bread. Enjoy!
