Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil.

Step 2

Add the onion and cook over moderate heat, stirring until softened, 4 minutes.

Step 3

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Step 4

Add the chicken and cook over moderately high heat, stirring occasionally, until browned all over, 3 minutes.

Step 5

Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil, season with salt and pepper and stir=fry until the chicken is cooked through, 3 minutes longer.

Step 6

Remove from the heat and stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice.

Step 7

Season with salt, pepper and soy sauce.

Step 8

Transfer the chicken to a platter, top with the slice scallion and serve with rice.

This made for a great weekend meal definitely company worthy and one that will see to repeats as it is both quick and easy and one that was enjoyed. I haven't been able to find the toasted sesame oil, other than using the regular sesame oil I made as posted.

Yum. I used chicken tenders (had them on hand) and added a little more lemon juice cuz I like it. lol. This was really easy to make and very good. I think next time that I would double the sauce so that there is a bit more in each bite. Thanks Teresa, for another nice recipe. Made for FYC tag.
