"This is a great appetizer for your next Halloween Party! If you don't have a brain mold, you can substitute by lining a medium size round bowl with saran wrap and making your mold. Once the mold is set, you can take the round end of a knife or a pencil eraser and create your crevices and creases to make your brain, as in the picture I have posted. Takes a little more time, but works well. When done designing your brain, peel off the saran wrap, and plate to serve along with your crackers, chips etc. You can also use this for any holiday by putting it in a holiday mold of your choice, and of course you can make it for your next party or snack night!"

Step 1

Heat soup, undiluted, and mix in the cream cheese.

Step 2

Stir in softened gelatin, and blend well.

Tried this out to bring to my neighbors for a Halloween party. The grossness didn't seem to bother anyone from digging in and enjoying it! It was easy and fun to prepare. I let it sit in the fridge overnight so it would firm up good. This is a no brainer if you want a great appetizer to make for a party!

My son wanted to help make this one. He says it's Frankenstein's brain on a plate. I tasted the leftovers in the bowl and it is sure to please all those kids coming in a few minutes! Serving bagel and pita chips and crackers with them. It will be gone in no time!

My 8 year old daughter and I made this together for a Halloween party we had at church. It was so much fun to make, and it tasted and looked so good! What a great dip it is. I served an assortment of crackers to dip. The kids really loved this gory brain on a platter, and picked it clean!

I simply could not pass this one up for my Halloween party. I had a hard time choosing between the shrimp and the crab but I finally decided on shrimp. I got lots of compliments on just the looks alone and when they finally got nerve up enough to try it everyone loved it and I got compliments galore all night long! I found a brain mold at a party shop here where I live. Next year I may make the one with crab. I know we will love it with crab too. Thank you!

We decided on a last minute Halloween party with friends and my wife whipped up this incredible brain spread. Everyone loved it! She made it with crab this time. Maybe next year we will try it with shrimp. It was so good that we will have this when we feel like indulging in a delicious dip anytime. The wife says to let it sit for awhile before eating so the flavors will blend together.
