"Oh my goodness, these are good! I make them up for salad toppings, although I must warn you, they are addictive on their own. They keep well...if you can stop eating them. I really want to add them to my Homemade Cereal, but that just feels too decadent, even for me :)"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
First: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients except Kahlua and heat over medium-high heat to 260 degrees, using a candy thermometer, stirring frequently.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and grease lightly.
Step 3
Second: Stir in pecans and transfer to cookie sheet, spreading pecans out to a single layer. Use two cookie sheets if needed.
Step 4
Third: Bake 15 minutes, remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining salt.
Step 5
Let cool a few minutes, then separate pecans from foil and from each other. I do this by lifting up the edges of the foil and tossing the pecans so the salt gets evenly distributed.
