"This is an appetizer recipe that I will be making again and again. It is easy, so attractive and so tasty ( not all that expensive either). I found this recipe in a leaflet with a local paper serving an Italian meal "Start to Finish". I have written the recipe so you may increase it - whatever your needs are. I made just 6 serving baguette slices for 2 persons for a lovely Sunday Appetizer. When you broil watch carefully the cheese melts & browns quickly. It is lovely served with a Martini or with a glass of Champagne"

Wow! I made these tonight while watching TV. Instead of a baguette, I used Challah that I had bought and sliced up. It worked out perfectly. I didn't toast mine as long as Bergy's photos depicted, but they were very tasty anyway. Made for Billboard tag.
