I used frozen whole green beans and just adjusted the cooking time. What a delicious veggie!

Just love this type of green bean recipe. So easy and yet so tasty, bacon makes everything taste better, lol!! I made as written, but had to sub cut green beans, what I had on hand. Once the bacon got nice and crispy, I took it out and drained on paper towels, then I crunched it all up and added half of back to the bean and onion mixture. Once most of the liquid was gone, I served the beans topped with the remaining crisp bacon pieces, yummy!!! Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for CQ 2014.

Hubby says this is pretty good. What is not to like with bacon and onions? Myself... I dislike canned anything (reminds me of the school cafeteria). These were alright for a quick and easy side dish to our meal. I think I may do this for asparagus next time. Thanks for posting a quick and easy recipe, Dienia. Made for. "Suitcase Gourmets" / Culinary Quest 2014. And "Yes, I did enjoy a slice of onion with this".
