Step 1
Heat a saucepan over medium heat. Add olive oil to the pan.
Step 2
Add the garlic clove and saute for 30 seconds. Add the basmati rice and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Step 3
Add 2 cups of water, bring to a boil, and then cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
Step 4
Remove from heat, and let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in parsley, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
