"A bit tart but a lovely twist on the old classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich. It may sound weird but it is delicious. I like to use a firm Italian white loaf 1/2" slice. Recipe first posted in Bon Appetit"

Step 1

Spread both sides of the bread with butter.

Step 2

Combine the cheddar & cranberries.

Step 3

Spread dijon on 2 slices of bread.

Step 4

Top with the cheese mixture.

Step 5

Cover withsecond slice of bread.

Step 6

Heat non stick skillet over medium heat.

Step 7

Cook the sandwiches, pressing down lightly.

Step 8

Flip after apprx 4 minutes or when one side is golden

Step 9

Continus cooking until the cheese has melted and both side are golden.
