Step by Step Method

Step 1

In oil, cook chicken and shallot. Add garlic. Remove to plate.

Step 2

Add flour to oil; brown. Add cream and stir.

Step 3

Add seasonings, simmer until thickened.

Step 4

Add chicken mixture. Add cheeses, take off heat.

Step 5

Add parsley, spinach and penne.

Step 6

Plate.

This was wonderful, Dee! Wow. The cheeses in the sauce made a heavenly taste, along with the other ingredients. My sauce got a little thicker than I wanted so I just thinned it out with some more half & half. I will gladly make this again, it's lovely for company, too! Another winner, Dee. thanks!

So easy to make and amazingly delicious! The combination of cheeses is exceptional. The only thing I did was decrease the amount of pasta and increase the spinach. But we like lots of sauce and spinach. Going into the best of file. Thanks for sharing.
