"An appetizer that is not too expensive but still looks and tastes like it is. Let the toasts and cheese topping get really brown so they are lovely & crisp. This recipe is from a wee pamphlet from the Food Network Magazine. You will have Jalapenos left over. I like to serve 3 toasts per person."

Step by Step Method

Mix together the cheeses, mayo and chives ( save 2 tbsp of the chives)

Spread evenly on the baguette slices
Step 3
Sprinkle the remaining chives over the prepared slices

Bake in 425f oven for 15 minutes or until the toasts are lovely & brown
