Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix all ingredients well and chill. Core and slice apples (leave peels on) and serve with dip. Note: use red, yellow and green apples for a colorful presentation, but granny smith apples seem to go fastest! (A tart apple works better with this recipe.) Cut apples right before serving or they will turn brown unless you sprinkle with Fruit Fresh or soak in lemon water or pineapple juice.

I had apples I had to use up fast and this dip really did the trick. We loved it for a mid afternoon snack. Great idea!

I made half a recipe to have as a snack, and we loved it so much that we will have it again real soon! I used the Granny Smith apples because they are a nice firm and tart apple, and they were just right for this type of dip.
