"From Canadian Living. This is for those who love butter chicken. Serve burgers in kaiser rolls and top with plain Greek yogurt, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, and lettuce leaves. Makes 6-8 burgers"

Step 1

In bowl, stir together egg, garlic, bread crumbs, curry paste, lemon juice, ginger, garam masala, salt and pepper; mix in chicken just until combined.

Step 2

Divide mixture into quarters; with wet hands, gently press to form 6-8 patties.

Step 3

Place on greased grill over medium-high heat; close lid and grill, turning once, until instant-read thermometer inserted sideways into patties reads 165ºF (74ºC), 10 to 12 minutes.

This is a tasty, zippy flavoured Burger that I loved. I cut the recipe in half. Whenever I have any curry I love having sliced bananas and chutney with it. So for this burgers toppings I had chopped sweet onion with chopped tomatoes, sliced bananas & Col. Grey's Mango chutney, fabulous Burger

We really enjoyed these. When I tagged them in the billboard game I didn't realize that I would not be able to find the butter chicken curry paste - totally unavailable in the stores I go to -- so I used a Thai green curry paste as a sub. I also cut the recipe in half to feed just the three of us. Very good! Thanks for sharing!
