"This dip is best HOT out of the oven, with chips, crackers or veggies. If holding for a party, bake and then transfer to a small slow cooker (giving it a good stir), so it stays warm. If you want a mild dip, substitute the spicy chili with regular chili. Any shredded cheese works, but it melts better if you grate it yourself from the block."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2

Spread softened cream cheese on the bottom of pie dish (or 8"x8" or 9"x9" baking dish).

Step 3

Pour chili over the cream cheese.

Step 4

Add the shredded cheese.

Step 5

Bake for 20 minutes, or until the shredded cheese is melted and bubbly and the dip is hot all the way through.

Step 6

Sprinkle diced onion over the melted cheese.

Step 7

Serve immediately, with chips, crackers or veggies. Enjoy while HOT!
