Step 1

Heat oil in a frying pan over moderate heat and add hash browns and cook for 3 minutes each side or until golden and crisp and then drain on paper towel.

Step 2

Add bacon to pan, for 3 minutes each side or until golden and crisp.

Step 3

Crack eggs into pan and cook for 4 minutes or until cooked to your liking.

Step 4

Preheat a sandwich press.

Step 5

Butter both sides of buns with butter and then top bun bases with cheese, bacon, and egg and a hash brown and top with tomato sauce or barbecue sauce and top with bun top and then repeat to make 4 in total.

Step 6

Cook in sandwich press, in batches, for 3 minutes or until heated and toasted.
