You know these kinds of meat cuts like beef ribs or shanks are not an easy thing to go to for meal planning. I was so thrilled to find a few recipes here on our site that had these cuts. Man - this was so good. It is definitely reminisce of a Spanish or even middle eastern type of flavor with the spices and style of cooking. It was a little bit of a challenge to have all these ingredients on hand, but I actually had all but the 2nd type of pepper mentioned. My peppers were dried too, but with the length of cooking time etc they were fine in the cooking. It had a beautiful color when it was done cooking and the meat was easy to shred and use in our taco shells. It is worth the time and effort. Delicious!

This was delicious as just a vegetable egg foo yong. I did not have any cooked meat to add, but would for sure add maybe some cooked beef or ham to it another time. I will use this again.

This is so good. I had to use a stir fry sauce because I did not have oyster sauce. Chinese cooking is still such a mystery to me, but this recipe was easy to follow and delicious.

This was delicious! Such a nice warm comfort meal, with a lot of flavor and extremely satisfying! The only changes were I added fresh mushrooms and I used Better than Boullion broth in place of the consomme. This is going into the "GoTo" cookbook, my family loved it and it is a meal that my kitchen generally will have most of the ingredients for.
