July 24, 2015
"A fantastic wing recipe that is on Empire Kosher's web site. If you don't want to purchase their brand of wings just purchase 2 pounds and split in half, my husband loves these wings, yes these are hot!"

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Spread wings in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Sprinkle wings with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Bake for 45 minutes until browned.
Cool wings for about 5 minutes before glazing.
While wings are baking, prepare the Wild Wing Glaze (recipe below).

FOR THE WILD WING GLAZE
In a saucepan, whisk together all of the ingredients, except about 2 tablespoons of the water and cornstarch.
Cook all of the remaining ingredients by bringing to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 40-45 minutes, until the sauce darkens and thickens. It will be reduced in volume by almost half.
Mix cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water together in a cup.
Pour cornstarch/water mixture into saucepan and turn up temperature to a boil, whisking, until sauce thickens even more.
Remove sauce from heat and cool.
