"Here's a breakfast dish that I enjoy for other meals as I'm not a big breakfast eater... The vanilla flavoring and spices just add a bit of a boost to the flavor of "usual" French Toast. Serve with other fruit or fruit flavored syrup if you prefer."

This was a real treat...the hubby and I both really enjoyed it...I did cut back on the amount of milk...I used 1/4 cup...and only one didn't say how much syrup so I just added what looked like a good amount...I left my bread out on the counter so it would be stale in the morning...I see Kato Baby beat me to the review...made for "Alphabet" tag game at FFF

Wonderful, I loved this simple french toast. It was so good, so much flavor and it had a great texture. I really enjoyed the way that the banana flavor enhances the maple syrup. It had a deep dark banana flavor. Thank you for sharing this lovely recipe that I will eat again. Made for Alphabet Tag
