Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Grease and flour a 9x9 cake pan.

Step 3

Whisk the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

Whisk egg until creamy.

Add 1/4 cup of milk and vanilla and beat.

Step 6

Add butter and beat.

Step 7

Add to dry mixture and additional milk until a stiff batter is achieved.

Place bananas on top

This was a VERY easy cake recipe. I followed as directed, substituting almond milk for milk as that's what I had on hand. I had BIG bananas, so I only got 2 and a half on top of the cake. I have no idea if it came out looking the way it was supposed to, but we loved it!
