Step by Step Method

Step 1

In small bowl, stir the first 5 ingredients with whisk. Cover; refrigerate until serving time.

Step 2

Heat gas or charcoal grill. In large bowl, mix all burger ingredients except buns and lettuce. Shape mixture into 4 patties, 1/2 inch thick.

Step 3

Carefully brush oil on grill rack. Place patties on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 9 to 12 minutes, turning once, until meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 165°F.

Step 4

Place burgers on bottom halves of buns. Spread tops of burgers evenly with Red Curry Mayo. Top with lettuce and onion. Cover with top halves of buns.

NOTE: for people who can't stand the heat - reduce amount of Thai red curry paste in both mayonnaise and burgers!

Tonight for dinner we enjoyed these Thai burgers. I used ground turkey instead of chicken and the mayo and burgers were well flavored. The Thai flavors really came out in these burgers and it was a pleasant change from the beef burger. Thank you Linky for sharing.
