"Very easy to prepare & loaded with flavour. This recipe is from the magazine "Our Canada" by Donna Reynolds with minor changes by me. The original recipe was for BBQing the fillet - grill covered over medium heat or broil 4" from heat for 10-15 minutes"
Combine the first nine Ingrdients (brown sugar to Cayenne).
Add butter, oil & soy.
Place the fillet, skin side down, on a parchment lined oven proof tray.
Spoon the mixture over the salmon.
Place in pre-heat 400f oven, middle rack.
Bake for apprx. 20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

I made this as instructed and the coating did not look like the spice paste in your photo. Mine turned out more like a liquid sauce so I put everything in a casserole dish and baked it at 400 degrees for 20 minutes and it turned out delicious.
Delicious!!It was as good as I expected a Bergy recipe to be. Did mine in the oven so super easy, now that I have new burner replacement shields the plan is to do this for a weekend BBQ.
Delicious and a great way to make salmon. I didn't have hot paprika so used regular but otherwise followed as written. Thanks for sharing!
