"This is a creamy, crunchy bit of heaven! I have made it with Cool Whip and tried it made with whipping cream. I favour the Cool Whip to save the calories. Both are wonderful. My grandson used to call this Love in a Pan...he did not want to use the other name lol. Total chilling time 5 hours. I have used a 9x13 pan...but prefer to use a 7 1/2 x 12 for a thicker dessert as in the pictures."

This was super easy to put together (great instructions!) and is ridiculously good. We just raved about it as we were eating it. I followed as directed except I used chocolate chips instead of shaved chocolate on the top for garnish. 10 stars!

Delicious dessert! I made a double batch in two pans, as I was expecting a big crowd for the Superbowl. Needless to say, after all was said and done I had about 2 servings left at the end of the night which we will have today. Looking forward to it too!

I made this for a family gathering and instead of using butterscotch pudding I used double the chocolate. I also doubled the recipe and made a huge trifle layering with chocolate cake chunks and omitting the bottom layer on this recipe. It was devoured in less than a half hour! I will try it as written soon as I am sure that is awesome too!
