Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat oil over over medium-high heat. Add sausage, onion, minced jalapenos and garlic powder. Stir to break up meat and cook until sausage is done, about 8 minutes. Remove from heat. Mix in 1 cup shredded cheese
Step 3
Fill each mushroom cap with sausage mixture.
Step 4
Place a jalapeno slice on top of each cap.
Step 5
Place mushrooms on sheet.
Step 6
Bake for 7-8 minutes.
