"This grilled chicken thigh burger is a delicious and savory meal. It starts with marinating chicken thighs in a seasoned brine, then coating them with your favorite mustard. Then you grill them until cooked through, add them to a toasted bun and top as desired. These turn out so tender and juicy, I bet these will become your favorite chicken burgers! The prep time listed is the marinating time."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Pour the water, salt, rosemary and garlic powder in a large re-sealable bag.

Step 2

Close the bag and swish until salt is dissolved.

Step 3

Add the chicken to the bag, seal, removing as much air as possible and refrigerate for a couple of hours.

Step 4

Remove the chicken from the brine and discard the brine.

Step 5

Coat the chicken pieces with the mustard and grill in a preheated high heat BBQ until cooked through. (About 3 minutes per side, depending on how thick your thighs are)

Step 6

Once cooked, place the thighs on a plate and cover loosely with foil.

Step 7

Toast your buns on the BBQ.

Step 8

Place the cooked chicken on the bottom buns, add tomato, lettuce and mayonnaise and add top bun.

Step 9

No special items needed.

The hubby doesn't care for thighs so I used breast...they came out tender and moist...we love the flavor or the mustard...I use Dijon...made for "Billboard" tag game...
