Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat oven to 450 degrees F. Line cookie sheet with foil.

Step 2

Spread sprouts on prepared pan and toss with oil.

Step 3

Roast for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4

Add onions to pan, toss, and roast for another 10 minutes.

Step 5

Drizzle with the vinegar, toss and roast another 2 minutes.

Step 6

Transfer to serving dish and toss with salt and pepper.

What a lovely change of pace with this fast and easy recipe! I used sprouts that were on the smaller side and cut them in half and a 25 star dark Balsamic from Santa Fe which is syrupy and on the sweeter side. Perfect balance of flavours for us! I have made these twice now one lot whole sprouts (which does take a bit longer cooking)and the other as written. We love the sprouts both ways. Wonderful recipe. So easy to make, we loved it, a different way with sprouts, which makes a fantastic side dish for dinner.

Simple and delicious with accurate roasting times. Thanks for sharing! Update 11.6.23: Still delicious. This time I cut back on onions and roasted them with Brussies for the full amount so they would be deliciously caramelized. And added s&p to season. Can't go wrong here! I'm also thinking the roasting times vary according to how big the Brussies are. Smaller ones cook right ontime.
