"There are many combinations for Cauliflower Salad, this particular version is the favourite in our area and the one family and friends love. A wonderful make ahead that is perfect for family gatherings, pot lucks, back yard get togethers, or to round out a holiday table. For holiday time or for special occasions I serve this in a cut glass bowl. The addition of slivered almonds add extra crunch. This salad needs at least eight hours mellowing time, best made the night before which is a real plus when cooking for a crowd."

This is such a wonderful cooling salad! I cut the recipe in half and let it sit for ten hours before serving and the two of us ate it all! Great make ahead salad for busy days! Thanks for sharing another Gerry keeper! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.

Great dish for the hot summer! Cool and refreshing. I wondered about no vinegar....used to broccoli salads with it, but this turned out delicious. Made a wonderful lunch. Thanks for sharing! Made for Billboard tag game.

When I checked the recipe recently for amounts to buy at the store, I realized that I haven't ever told you all how great this salad is. Crisp and clean, full flavored and healthy at the same time. Please try it as a side or as a main dish with slices of grilled chicken. Pack it up for a picnic or potluck, add it to a buffet, or simply serve it plated to accompany other dishes. A versatile and taste satisfying salad enjoyed by all.

Derf "RIP" Forever in our Kitchen

I loved the sound of this but had no pot luck to do it for so i cut it way back to just a quarter of the recipe, sooo glad i did, we love it! i was a little afraid the lettuce would not be so good after marinating in the fridge for 24 hours but no need to worry it still had some crunch and was delicious. The bacon bits and the parmesan cheese are a wonderful combination and what with that wonderful flavour and the great "crunch", and being able to make it the night before, it would be perfect for a pot luck!!

Made this for a pot-luck dinner and it dissapeared before I was able to have some :( Everyone that had some gave it a thumbs up. Next time I make this I will have some before I bring it out so I can enjoy it. Made for the Billboard Recipe Tag Game. (Update: Made this again, this time for myself and really enjoyed this. This will see many reapeats)
