"This is equally good with meat loaf or sausages etc. Also great on meat loaf sandwiches. It is not a hot condiment but rather spicy sweet. Make this ahead of time so that the sugar crystals can dissolve. This is an accompaniment to the cooked meatloaf, not a topping before it is cooked. I have been making this for over 50 years! I usually quadruple the recipe to have some for the leftovers(plan aheads)."
Mix brown sugar, dry mustard and nutmeg until there are no lumps.
Add ketchup and combine thoroughly.
