"This takes minutes to make but needs an 8 hour refrigeration time to blend flavors 24 hours is even better, I usually double amounts and freeze in 1/2-cup plastic containers after the refrigeration time, amounts listed will yield about 1 cup of sauce, cook time is 8 hours chilling time This make a fantastic pizza sauce or a marinara dipping sauce and could also be made without the tomato paste, I think it's better with it though"

This is a grest tasting pizza sauce. I quartered the recipe to make one pizza Flavor was great after 8 hours in the fridge. I had a little sauce left over so I used it as a dipper for some Mozzarella Sticks. Excellent!

The kids wanted pizza and truthfully so did I. We had whole wheat crust and the pizza came out so great using this sauce. My wife made it and then the kids and I decorated the pizza. This sauce is excellent and we will use it often. My wife froze some so we will have it on hand.

moosehead "RIP" In Our Kitchen

This is SO flavorful for such little effort! I've made this several times this fall, it freezes very well in 1/2 c containers as kitten suggests. I let it sit in fridge for a day before using or freezing. We like it with about 1/2 tsp black pepper added. Thanks, kitten!!!!
