Step 1

Coat the chicken in the mixture of flour, salt and paprika.

Step 2

Melt butter in baking dish. Add chicken pieces, turning to coat.

Step 3

Arrange skin side down in a 9 x 13 inch pan.

Step 4

Bake at 375 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Step 5

While chicken bakes prepare the lemon basting sauce by mixing together the remainder of the ingredients.

Step 6

Turn chicken and spoon the lemon basting sauce over the chicken and bake for another 30 minutes or until done.

I scaled this back for 1 serve and used a Maryland (drum and thigh intact) and cooked as directed though when doing again I will put some slices of lemon on the chicken when baking but even exactly as is it is a wonderful tasting recipe, thank you ellie, made for Pick Me Tag game under the 48 hour rule.
