Step by Step Method

Step 1

Whisk flour, caster sugar, oil, zest juice, poppy seeds and egg in a 1 1/2 cup microwave safe much.

Step 2

Microwave on medium (50%) for 1 1/2 minutes or until cake is cooked when a skewer inserted at centre comes out clean and then stand for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Combine cream cheese and icing sugar in a bowl and serve cake topped with cream cheese mixture and extra zest.
